Dahren Davey is a London-based artist whose practice centers primarily on portraiture. He earned an MA in Fashion Design from the Royal College of Art before beginning his career in the studio of Vivienne Westwood.
Following this experience, Davey worked freelance as a designer, fashion illustrator, and researcher for both high street and luxury fashion brands, as well as for magazines. Alongside his creative practice, he has spent more than two decades working as a Senior Lecturer in Fashion at the university level.
Davey’s artwork focuses predominantly on portraiture, often depicting male subjects through a wide range of media and techniques. Constant experimentation with style, material, and aesthetic plays a central role in his process, allowing each work to convey a distinct mood and visual language. Despite the diversity of approaches throughout his practice, his work maintains a recognizable and consistent signature style.
