Le Corbusier

Le Corbusier (1887–1965), born Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, was a pioneering Swiss-French architect, designer, artist, and urban planner whose work helped define modern architecture. Known for his minimalist aesthetic and visionary approach to space, Le Corbusier developed influential theories that reshaped twentieth-century design and urban planning. His iconic works include Villa Savoye and the master plan for Chandigarh. In addition to architecture, he produced paintings, drawings, furniture, and prints that reflected his enduring commitment to modernism and geometric form.
